How to anchor the foot of your Playground Slide:
One quick and easy way to secure playground slides is to hammer timber stakes into the ground and screw the slide to them.
Another quick and easy way to anchor slides:
- Bury and stake a piece of timber into the soil to support the foot of the slide, (for best results use a big hammer to level and compact into soil.
- Screw the Wonder Wave Slide to it, read on for Fun and Super Fun Wave Slides.
- Screw another piece of timber to the inside of the foot of the slide.
- Screw the two pieces of wood together to secure the slide into position.
- This method will support the slide more securely and there will be no stakes sticking out of the ground if you want to be able to remove the slide completely to mow the lawn, or during winter time to let the grass grow back! Or, if you want to use the space for other activities periodically.
To install your Playground Slide onto your play structure simply place it onto its platform and screw it down.
It is NOT SAFE to use any playground slide that has not been secured at the top!
A Playground Slides platform height is the height difference between the top of the slide and the ground the foot of the slide sits on.
- To calculate place a straight length of wood or similar at the bottom of the platform.
- Raise the wood until it is level.
- measure from the ground to the bottom of the wood were the foot of the slide is (or will be).

To lessen the angle of The Wonder Wave Slide - timber is easily screwed to the foot of the slide.
The exit seat height of the slide with out being raised is 210mm, Photos show the wonder wave slide raised by 100mm.
